DESCRIPTION:À la Révolution\, l’ancien hôpital installé sur le site d
 e la Maison-Dieu est jugé insalubre. La fonction hospitalière est alors 
 transférée dans l’ancien couvent des Filles de Saint-François\, situ
 é à proximité de l’église Notre-Dame. Les bâtiments sont d’abord 
 « restaurés »\, avant qu’un vaste chantier de reconstruction ne soit 
 entrepris entre la fin du XIXᵉ siècle et le début du XXᵉ siècle. Ce
