DESCRIPTION:À la Révolution\, l’ancien hôpital installé sur le site d
 e la Maison-Dieu est jugé insalubre. La fonction hospitalière est alors 
 transférée dans l’ancien couvent des Filles de Saint-François\, à pr
 oximité de l’église Notre-Dame. D’abord restaurés\, les bâtiments 
 font ensuite l’objet d’un vaste chantier de reconstruction entre la fi
 n du XIXe siècle et le début du XXe siècle\, donnant au site sa configu
